廈門岷廈國際學(xué)校：The MXIS students celebrated an early Earth Day

The MXIS students celebrated an early Earth Day at the school gym. MYP and DP students occupied the gym, and lower school students gathered at the IB conference room.

2023年4月14日，廈門岷廈國際學(xué)校的學(xué)生們分別在校體育館(中學(xué)部和高中部)以及IB會議室(小學(xué)部)分別開展地球日主題活動。

Throughout the program, students learned about the importance of protecting our planet Earth and the reason why we have to spread the word and increase awareness of Earth Day. Activities such as the Earth Day quiz bee and poster/slogan-making were done bythe students. These activities helped the students understand the impact of their actions on the environment and how they can contribute to preserving it. The program also encouraged them to take small steps towards sustainability in their daily lives.

通過此次活動，學(xué)生們了解了保護地球的重要性，我們?yōu)槭裁匆�宣傳地球日，以及為什么要傳播和提高對地球日的認識。學(xué)生們還參與了地球日智力競賽和制作海報/標語等活動。這些活動幫助學(xué)生們了解他們的行為對環(huán)境產(chǎn)生的影響，以及如何為保護環(huán)境做出貢獻。該計劃還鼓勵他們在日常生活中朝著可持續(xù)發(fā)展邁出一小步。

The World Earth Day

During the Earth Day celebration, the middle and upper school students were divided into groups and shared their ideas about environmental protection. Each group produced a public awareness video and a poster together with their slogan with the purpose of introducing various environmental issues such as water cleanliness, deforestation, and endangered animals.

在地球日慶�；顒又校�中學(xué)生被分成小組，分享了他們對生態(tài)環(huán)境保護的看法。每個小組制作了一個宣傳視頻、一張海報以及他們的口號，目的是介紹各種環(huán)境問題，如水凈化、森林砍伐和瀕危動物。
